Terms and conditions

These terms govern the rental, with chauffeur, of a vintage convertible (Ford Galaxie Sunliner 1961) for wedding ceremonies in Belgium, operated by Street Machine SRL (CBE BE 0466.099.945).

Every booking implies the unconditional acceptance of these terms.

A quote is issued on request, valid 30 days unless stated otherwise. The contract is formed upon receipt of the deposit (see art. 4), which serves as confirmation of the booking. Before the deposit, no date is firmly blocked.

Depending on the package, the service may include:

• The vehicle, maintained, in working order, with all-risk insurance.
• A chauffeur in uniform, trained to drive the vehicle.
• A flat-rate mileage (variable depending on package).
• Fuel, any tolls and insurance within the scope of the service.

The following elements are never included unless specifically optioned: decoration, flowers, champagne, kilometres beyond the flat rate, time overruns beyond the 15-minute courtesy.

Prices are stated in euros including VAT (21%). A 30% deposit of the total amount is due at booking to confirm the date. The balance is due at the latest 30 days before the event date.

Payment is made via Mollie (Bancontact, credit card, SEPA transfer) or by direct bank transfer. Any unpaid amount on due date may result in cancellation of the booking after a formal notice that has remained unanswered for 7 days.

The cancellation terms are:

• More than 90 days before the event: full refund of the deposit (less any bank fees).
• From 90 to 30 days before: the deposit is retained.
• Less than 30 days: the total amount remains due.

Any cancellation must be notified by email to info@weddingcars.be with acknowledgement of receipt.

In case of force majeure (major unrepairable mechanical breakdown, accident, natural disaster, public health emergency, etc.) we commit to offer, in order:

• An equivalent replacement vehicle provided by a partner.
• Free postponement to another date within 24 months.
• Full refund of amounts paid if none of the above is acceptable.

No further compensation is due, in particular for indirect damages (reorganisation, missed opportunity, etc.).

The vehicle is driven exclusively by our chauffeur. Driving by the customer or guests is strictly forbidden. Photographs behind the wheel (vehicle stopped) require the chauffeur's agreement and must not touch the controls.

Eating, smoking, or consuming drinks (other than champagne included in an option) is forbidden, as is carrying items likely to damage the interior (nails, stilettos damaging leather).

Any damage caused (significant stains requiring specialised cleaning, torn leather, breakage) is charged to the customer based on a repair quote.

A 15-minute courtesy is granted without surcharge. Beyond this, every started 30-minute slot is charged at the hourly rate of the chosen package, provided the service can be extended (chauffeur's planning).

The vehicle is covered by an all-risk insurance with a valid policy. Passengers are covered for bodily injury occurring during the service.

Our liability cannot be engaged for the consequences of a delay due to external circumstances (exceptional traffic, police intervention, diversion, etc.). Our obligation is one of means — we use all reasonable measures to ensure punctuality and quality.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution first. Failing that, the courts of the district where Street Machine SRL has its registered office have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer provisions.

The consumer can also reach the Consumer Ombudsman Service (consumerombudsman.be) or the EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
